Peter Howell is Principal of PH Capital Advisory and works as an independent capital, ownership and governance advisor to founder-led companies, boards and major shareholders before major capital, ownership, sale, governance and growth decisions are made.
The work draws on direct experience as a founder and operator, including building a private company through international expansion and a partial divestment, alongside advisory work spanning capital, strategy, governance, and transactions. The perspective is that of someone who has made these decisions, not only studied them.
How the practice works
Engagements are senior led throughout. There is no team to hand the work to, and no junior bench billing against your decision. The number of engagements taken on at any time is deliberately small, so that each receives the judgment it was sought for.
The position is independent by design. Where every other voice in the room is paid or invested in a particular answer, the independent read carries none of it. That is the point of it.
